As a condition for
membership in the TCSG, members must agree to the following Code of
Ethics.

To represent my company and myself in
a professional manner by providing services, education and skills
that are in compliance with all codes and regulations applicable to
the chimney service industry that are in effect in my service area.

Learn and use the knowledge, skills
and techniques of the chimney service profession at least to the
minimum current accepted standards of the profession and to
continually update my knowledge, skills and techniques as new
information evolves within the industry.

Represent my company and myself
truthfully and fairly, and not engage in any deceptive statements or
practices.

Require my employees to practice the
trade with regard to the Code of Ethics.

Avoid using untrue or deceptive
statements concerning a competitor, their service or product.

Avoid promoting my own business,
separate group, or organization while serving as a representative of
the Guild.

Seek resolution of any grievance
involving another person in the chimney-service industry through
appropriate personal means, through the established procedures of
the TCSG, or through applicable law.
